Joy Ride

Failure is a feeling
you hang on a wall-
To stare at,
Hang a hat rack,
Place high above you-
Making you
Small.
But you don’t have to hang upon it
Or fixate a sorrowful sonnet.
Just do better.
Pray more,
Appear present in the moment;
Hurl your heavy heart to God.
Stop circling the mountain as the unfaithful
When you know He who created the able!
God has spoken to me
Given vision in my soul.
I heard about my destiny;
Internally, I’m yearning for something more.
I’m not trapped by the moment,
But sometimes time feels like a trap.
I offer such time treasures,
Thinking it’s a blessed endeavor,
But each second is not coming back.
Believing God wants me to give
But sometimes, just truthfully,
It feels Ike the more I give,
The more I’m under attack.
I want to push back-
Devote myself more diligently,
One day at a time
Pursue my passions like my life’s on the line.
And just see what would happen,
If I leapt on Gods word,
And took my faith on a Joy Ride!
What would happen…
If I let God drive?
