Sign Sighting

Don’t diminish the image

Of God who shows signs in Your life;

What others call coincidence,

You must know it is communication

To the prayers you’ve sent,

When you send in the name of Christ.

Tell me,

Why wouldn’t the Lord above

Grant you graceful provision

To your soul’s supplication?

If it matters to you,

It matters to your Father in Heaven.

Pay heed to the ways He presents meaning:

They’re tokens directly sent.

So if skeptic,

Send your clay created logic

Off the spinning wheel-

Don’t question the One creating

When the Spirit’s obviously here.

Don’t stifle the Spirit from moving;

It’s your faith that is appealing-

A constant craved communication

With the God who gave you

The air you’re breathing.

And further,

Guard yourself from guessing

God’s provision in others,

Lest you entirely rob yourself

of His Kingdom’s pleasures,

Which are, in short,

Prayerful answers

In the form of symbolic love letters.

“My God shall supply all your need

According to His riches in glory

By Christ Jesus.”

(Phillipians 4:19)

“And the Lord spoke to him

and gave him a sign.”

(2 Chronicles 32:24)
