Wrapped in Rest

God loves me
In an intensity
Unknown to man,
With compassion
More than able to withstand
The unsearchable extent of his loving hand.
He holds me
In the most minute minute,
With infinite intent.
The will that He meant
Stands still and intimate,
And exceeds the galactic reach of existence.
And all the same,
He knows my name;
Every fiber of my being
Is the culmination of His believing,
And the essence of who I am
Long stood in His mind before my creation.
With eager exhilaration,
He brought me forth,
Not because I was perfect
(For I’m more the reverse).
But simply, I’m here because of His love:
A love that matches no imagination,
Extending to the origins of Heaven.
He created me out of love
For His purpose
So I am, in Him, more than enough!
